If you are navigating through this website, chances are that you belong to a community of people who are interested in improving some part of their physical, emotional, or spiritual self.
You have your own life story based on experiences, habits, actions, and beliefs.
The body, mind, and spiritual aspects of yourself make you a whole being. Each body system is part of the whole.
Pain is a game-changer. Pain can be physical, emotional, and spiritual. Pain can be caused by imbalances in your whole self.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to help people feel more ease and confidence in daily living. We can find ways for you to feel more comfortable if you are struggling or in challenging situations.
These are issues that I often hear from clients:
- Lack of daily structure / direction
- Chronic pain
Do any of these resonate with you? What would you add to this list?
Depending on what you need to increase your health and well-being, practices may include:
- Movement that varies from subtle to vigorous
- Breath work and techniques
- Meditation or visualization practices
- Postures/poses to relieve specific areas of discomfort or improve imbalances
- Any combination of these practices addressing your individual needs
Yoga therapy may include yogic practices such as: functional strength, breath work (pranayama), posture (asana), relaxation, meditation, mindfulness, affirmations/intentions (sankalpha), lifestyle, visualization, and other yogic practices.
You do this to enable your body and mind to engage their innate ability to heal. You do this to relieve/reduce pain, manage symptoms, and improve function. You do this by following a self-care program that empowers you to move towards improved health and well-being.
